Tebow (baby) Steps

Tebow is leaving the Denver Broncos, and he is becoming a New York Jet. Is this the best choice for Tebow, or is he trapped on "Jets Island". Tebow has to be the back-up behing Sanchez which is already one issue. Then he has to deal with the Jets locker room dealing with Tebow being there. Will Tebow get a start? How will he do if he does? All these questions will fall to deaf ears till at least the preseason. I think Tebow is a start over Sanchez just like a fantasty football manager would have started Tebow over Sanchez last season. Sanchez better have a break out year if he is planning on maintaining the starting QB role.

Peyton Manning + Broncos = Super Bowl?

Peyton Manning is offically a Denver Bronco, and Tim Tebow is now on the New York Jets. Now that Peyton Manning has a team, it is time to decide what he will do. As of right now, it seems like Peyton will have great options and a decent running game to back him up. He has Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker. You also have to expect that Manning will bring a friend or two. I can see TE Dallas Clark joining the Broncos to help teach this team to play quick. The Broncos have a 99% chance of making the playoffs, and I expect them to be a top playoff contendor, but you will need to expect some trouble for this Broncos team against teams like the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens. I don't think Manning will be able to expect another Super Bowl ring. Many may disagree, but I believe that all this hype about Manning will lead to a very disappointing ending. Be prepared... the Peyton Manning era is coming to an end, and the contract for 5 years and $96,000,000 means nothing about how long he will remain as a QB in the NFL.

Peyton Manning: Top 5 Teams in the Hunt

Peyton Manning has spent 15 years with the Indianapolis Colts, but he has finally reached the end of his time with them as free agency starts. Will he be able to be "Peyton Manning", or will he fall under the pressure and sink. No matter what happens he will play football somewhere! This is the question everyone is wondering as of right now: Where will Peyton Manning go? That could easily be one of the 5 teams below as I go through top contenders in the hunt for Peyton Manning.

  1. Seattle Seahawks: The Seahawks were ranked 22nd overall in the passing game! This team has the ability to be a playoff contendor that could cause the San Francisco 49ers to be placed in a wild card seed in the 2012 season! I can definitly see this working out because of the need for a stronger passing game including weapons and a QB, and they have Marshwan Lynch at RB being at a probable high point of his career! If the Seahawks get Peyton Manning I think the Seahwks will go 11-5, and will probably get the #4 seed.
Notable Players:
QB: Tarvaris Jackson
RB: Marshawn Lynch
WR: Mike Williams, Sidney Rice

    2.  Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jaguars were ranked 32nd in the passing game! This means it is time for change! The Jaguars will not be able to able to just use Maurice Jones-Drew in the running game to win. They could become a serious threat in their divison because of the Indianapolis Colts "restarting" its franchise with Andrew Luck, the Houston Texans having trouble with their injured QB, Matt Schuab, and their back-up T.J. Yates. They can also deal with the QB debates between Jake Locker and Matt Hassleback with the Tennesse Titans! If the Jaguars got Peyton Manning they will probably have a 9-7 season, and they would probably get the #6 seed!

Notable Players:
QB: Blaine Gabbert
RB: Maurice Jones-Drew
WR: Mike Thomas, Chastin West

    3.  Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings were ranked 28th in the passing game. The Vikings are in one of the hardest divisons with the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions! The Vikings have been suffering from QB difficulties over the years with Brett Farve, Donovan Mcnabb, Christan Ponder, and Joe Webb. They need a QB that they can stick with for a year or two. They might not be the team Peyton Manning wants to be with becuase I don't seem them going very far in a year with the Vikings. If the Vikings get Manning they will probably have a 7-9 season, and they will not make the playoffs. They pretty much have no chance at winning a Super Bowl in the next few years.

Notable Players:
QB: Christan Ponder
RB: Adrian Peterson
WR: Percy Harvin, Bernard Berrian

    4. Cleveland Browns: The Browns were ranked 24th in the passing game. They were the only one in their divison that did not make the playoffs! They are going to have some serious problems without some big change, but the QB might not be the big money position they would want to pay for. They currently have QB Colt McCoy trowing from the pocket who had a strong season. They might need to look in the market for something else like a WR, CB, or RB. If they get Peyton Manning they will probably have a 8-8 season and will not make the playoffs. It would probably be best to get a diffrent position.

Notable Players:
QB: Colt McCoy
RB: Peyton Hillis
WR: Mohamed Massaquoi, Joshua Cribbs

     5. Houston Texans: The Texans were ranked 18th in the passing game, and they probably have no use for Peyton Manning due to the fact they have Matt Schuab. They are good enough to make the playoffs without him, but they can't win a Super Bowl in their current state. They need Peyton Manning to make them top playoff contendors!!! If they some how end up with Peyton Manning they will have a 12-4 season, and they will probably get the #2 seed.

Notable Players:
QB: Matt Schaub
RB: Arian Foster
WR: Andre Johnson, Jacoby Jones

Where ever he goes though... I can almost promise they will be a strong team.
