The NFL Draft 2012 Overview 11-20

Lets get into the next round of exciting picks in the draft.
11th overall pick: Dontari Poe. Also not on my list, but he has a great strength that you usually don't see. He has the power needed to have a season.
My favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, made a trade to get the 12th overall pick with the Seahawks, which invloved them giving up their 15th overall pick, a 4th round pick, and a 6th round pick. 12th overall pick: Fletcher Cox. I can't say it is a bad choice with Luke Kuelchy gone, but with Kuelchy out of the picture I would have leaned toward an OT like David DeCastro.
13th overall pick: Michael Fllyod. An interesting move for the Cardinals, but I love it. He goes in there with Fitzgerald as WR #1 which is a great veteran WR to learn from, but he has to deal with the QB situatuion where it could be Kevin Kolb, Josh Skelton, or maybe even a QB they can draft like QB Brandon Weeden or QB Ryan Lindley. You can also look at the Cardinals past draft picks including 2007: Dominuqe Rodgers-Cromartie, 2008: Beanie Wells, and 2011: Patrick Peterson. Michael Fllyod I think can be a breakout star.
14th overall pick: Michael Brockers. He's big, he's strong, he knows the game, but can he bring the Rams more wins... probably not.
15th overall pick: Bruce Irvin. A no name to most, but I didn't follow my instinct again, and he didn't make my top 32 list, but he had a great combine which proved he can be up there with the best but will he produce...
16th overall pick: Quinton Coples: A very late pick for what he was supposed to be, so I would say the Jets got a steal that can give the defense little amounts of stength because I feel they might need to season him for a year or 2 because the Jets defense is so strong.
17th overall pick: Dre Kirkpatrick. An amazing steal for the Bengals at this point. Kirkpatrick I feel is as stong as Claibourne which can get these team back to the playoff especially with them having the 21st pick in the draft as well.
18th overall pick: Melvin Ingram. A great pick here with his speed and strength which allows him to plow down the running game which the Chargers needed.
19th overall pick: Shea McClellin. As the picks get later it gets harder to figure out who will get drafted next, but not only is he not on my top 32, but I don't have him in my top 100!!!
20th overall pick: Kendall Wright. The fastest WR. He can compete with the best CB's like Derrellle Revis.
Almost 2/3 of the draft completed!!!

The NFL Draft 2012 Overview 1-10

A very interesting draft that has caused me to completly change which teams I like.
1st overall pick: Andrew Luck. Everybody has seen this move from months ago. He has the arm to lead these Colts back up from their 2-14 season, but I don't see them getting to the playoffs this year.
2nd overall pick: Robert Griffin the 3rd. He is a great player to get as the 2nd pick. He has the speed and strength of Cam Newton, but he has a better squad around him that can allow him to have the chance to make the playoffs before Andrew Luck. The problem for me is: as an Eagles fan, I have to start worrying about the Eagles season because they need to come toghether as a team to win this divison against teams like the Super Bowl Champs, New York Giants, the team with Robert Griffin the 3rd, Washington Redskins, and the team with a dream with Romo to fight back to the top, the Dallas Cowboys.
30 minuties before the NFL Draft the Browns made a trade that pretty much blew my mind to pieces. The Browns traded to get the 3rd overall pick in the draft, and they gave up the 4th overall pick in the draft and gave up a 4th round, a 5th round, and a 7th round pick. Might be the stupidist trade for the Browns in NFL history, but I have to give the Vikings credit for there great move. 3rd overall pick: Trent Richardson. The Browns just killed their draft with those moves. Trent Richardson is too slow to play HB and has been way over exaggerated. These Browns are going to fall to pieces with moves like this!
4th overall pick: Matt Kalil. A very expected move for them some I'm very excited to see them get this guy. They can get some more protection for Ponder, so this move can save Ponder a few hits next season.
Another move happened between the Buccaneers and the Jaguars, so the Jaguars can move up to get the 5th overall pick in the draft which will lead to them getting Justin Blackmon which may not be the best move in their prerdicament. They have Blaine Gabbert at QB, and I thought they could use a OT to protect Gabbert and his running game, but it does help give him more confidence in his passing game. 5th overall pick: Justin Blackmon. He can help Gabbert's confidence, but he can't help the Jaguars get toward the playoffs any faster.
Another move happened right after that! The Cowboys traded to get the 6th overall pick to the Rams, which as I said earlier will lead to the Eagles getting into a even tighter spot. The Cowboys gave up the 14th overall pick, their 2nd round pick, and their 4th round pick. 6th overall pick: Morris Claibourne. One word for any team that has a game against the Cowboys this year... FEAR! This will cause all teams to get fear. The Cowboys were one game out of making the playoffs this year, and Claibourne getting picked by the Cowboys will make the chances stronger to make it to the playoffs.
7th overall pick: Mark Barron. A very early place to get a safety, but you can get him up there at safety to play with some of the best WR like Marques Colston and Roddy White.
8th overall pick: Ryan Tannehill. A very expected move. This guy can get the job done, and he can probably keep of with Andrew Luck and the Colts with the weapons he has with the Dolphins, but I don't think they can keep up with Robert Griffin the 3rd with the Redskins or Tom Brady with the Patriots.
9th overall pick: Luke Kuechly. I'm a tiny bit upset with this pick. I was pleading for them to take somebody else like Janorius Jenkins because I was hoping for the Eagles to get this pick to save their LB squad.
10th overall pick: Stephon Gilmore. Not even on my list. I doubted myself when I was looking at him beacause he was under the covers, and he didn't seem that popular, but he did a great job at the combine, and I believe he probably deserves a pick like that.
1st 10 was a nutty start, but it is only the beggining.

NFL Draft 2012

It is that time of year again for the NFL Draft and I have predicted who is going where in round 1 listed below enjoy:
  1. QB Andrew Luck: Obvious pick for overall pick since he has already been promised the 1st overall pick in the draft.
  2. QB Robert Griffin the 3rd: Redskins made a big move to get this pick. They better use it to the best ability.
  3. WR Justin Blackmon: This guy is the #1 WR in the draft and the Browns have another pick in the draft later if they need something else badly.
  4. OT Matt Kalil: This guy is the best OT in the draft, and the Vikings need somebody to help protect Ponder.
  5. CB Morris Claibourne: A very predictable move in the draft; the Buccaneers need to add some defense to their roster.
  6. OT David DeCastro: May be a good move considering Bradford playoing QB and being in need of protection.
  7. OT Riley Rieff: An expected move considering the position the Jaguars are in, since Gabbert seems like the starter and needs more protection.
  8. QB Ryan Tannehill: This is very important considering the Dolphins QB position with Matt Moore currently in there and them getting rejected left and right by QB's
  9. CB Janorius Jenkins: Panthers need some defense to protect them from the passing game.
  10. DL Melvin Ingram: Great way to protect the running game.
  11. OT Nate Potter: This would be a very big upset because he is a unknown player with possibilities.
  12. WR Michael Fllyod: He is a great WR that could help a passing game.
  13. OT Jonothan Martin: Another big upset like Nate Potter who can produce big.
  14. CB Dre Kirkpatrick: Destruction. One word is all you need to explain this guy.
  15. LB Luke Kuelchy: Eagles need to increase defense and stop the running game.
  16. DL Quinton Coples: This guy is as good as Ingram and can stay with the big leaguers.
  17. S Mark Barron: Great speed for those deep recievers in the NFL.
  18. LB Courtny Upshaw: This guy is as good as Luke Kuelchy and can play with the best.
  19. LB Lavonte Davis: A no name to alot of people, but with the possibility of greatness with a few years of seasoning.
  20. HB Trent Richardson: The most overrated player of the draft! This guy seems like the big name RB, but there are other guys that could keep up with him.
  21. HB David Wilson: Great prospect with speed that could make him a great draft pick.
  22. QB Brandon Weeden: I met with Weeden a few months back, and he told me he has had mainly talks with the Browns, so I can't not put him here with Justin Blackmon there to come with him.
  23. HB Lamar Miller: Another speedy runner that can compete with the other HB's.
  24. OT Kelechi Osmele: Another no name that can take over the OT position.
  25. TE Dwayne Allen: Not expected to be the best TE, but I think he can destroy in the TE position with the help of Peyton Manning.
  26. OT Mike Adams: Supposed to get higher, but he might be another overrated player this year.
  27. LB Zach Brown: Another no name that could be a hit or miss with his strength.
  28. DL Nick Perry: A player that I think is perfect for a late 1st round.
  29. LB Donte Paige-Moss: This guy could definitly be a hit or miss.
  30. OT Matt Reynolds: Another player that is overrated, but he can still pack a punch to any offensive line.
  31. HB Chris Rainey: A unknown player that I doubt to get this high, but I can alwats dream for the underdog.
  32. DL Andre Branch: Ya... probably not a great pick, but you can always dream.
