Ravens Overcome Patriots

The Baltimore Ravens this week over took the New England Patriots, 28-13.

This game was highly based off of the Patriots offense and defense. QB Joe Flacco had 240 yards passing and 3 TDs. HB Ray Rice had 48 rushing yards and a TD. WR Anquan Boldin had 5 receptions for 60 yards and 2 TDs. TE Dennis Pitta also had a TD as well as 5 receptions for 55 yards. LB Ray Lewis had a great day with 6 tackles and 8 assisted tackles. CB Cary Williams had 3 tackles and 3 assisted tackles as well as an interception. LB Dannell Ellerbe had 2 tackles and 3 assisted tackles and an interception as well.

The Patriots offense failed them today. QB Tom Brady had a decent day though with 320 yards passing and a TD. WR Wes Welker also had a good day with 8 receptions for 117 yards and a TD.

The MVP of this game for me this week is LB Ray Lewis due to great tackling and numbers as well as the motivation he gives to this team to power them to victory.

Falcons Let Up 17 Point Lead

The Atlanta Falcons have lost in the playoffs yet again to QB Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers. The Falcons were up 17-0 in the 1st quarter, but the 49ers rallied from behind to overtake the Falcons and win 28-24 thanks to HB Frank Gore's game winning TD.

The 49ers offense was the biggest factor in this game even though Kaepernick was limited with his legs. Kaepernick only had 233 yards passing and 1 TD. He also had 21 rushing yards. HB Frank Gore had 80 yards rushing and 2 TDs; one of them being the game winner. HB LaMichael James had 34 yards rushing and also a TD. TE Vernon Davis had 5 receptions for 106 yards and a TD, and WR Michael Crabtree had 6 receptions for 56 yards.

The Falcons also had a big day. QB Matt Ryan had 317 yards passing and 3 TDs. WR Julio Jones had 8 receptions for 148 yards passing and 2 TDs. TE Tony Gonzalez had 8 receptions for 78 yards and a TD, and WR Roddy White has had 6 receptions for 84 yards.

In the end, my MVP is Frank Gore with the game winning TD. He is a star and will have trouble being stopped in the Super Bowl.

Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots

The Baltimore Ravens are repeating the AFC Championship matchup by heading out to play the New England Patriots,

The QB matchup is between the strong, consistent QB Tom Brady and power arm QB Joe Flacco (AKA AFlacco as the analyst like to call him). This year Brady has had 4827 yards passing, 36 TDs, and 8 interceptions. AFlacco this year has had 3817 yards passing, 22 TDs, and 10 interceptions. I'll have to give this matchup to Brady.

The HB matchup is between HB Ray Rice and HB Stevan Ridley. This year Rice has had 1143 yards rushing and 9 TDs. Ridley this year has had 1263 yards rushing and 11 TDs. I also give this one to the Patriots and Stevan Ridley.

The WR matchup is between WR Wes Welker and WR Anquan Boldin. This year Welker has had 118 reception for 1354 yards and 6 TDs. Boldin this year has had 65 receptions for 921 yards and 4 TDs. I will give this one to Welker and his squad as well.

Though this seems very one sided I'm going with the Ravens. Before the season started I had the Ravens winning it all. This is gonna be an intense game where LB Ray Lewis will rise to the occasion to help win. Ravens, 35-31.

San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons

This week the streaking Atlanta Falcons will take on the rising San Francisco 49ers.

The QB matchup for this week is QB Colin Kaepernick against QB Matt Ryan. This year Kaepernick has had 1814 yards passing, 10 TDs, and 3 interceptions. Kaepernick is also quite the runner with 415 yards rushing and 5 TDs. Ryan this year has had 4719 yards passing, 32 TDs, and 14 interceptions. I feel that this match up is too even to really choose a superior side, but if I had to choose I would go with Kaepernick because of his legs.

The HB matchup this week is HB Frank Gore against HB Michael Turner. This year Gore has had 1214 yards rushing and 8 TDs. Turner this year has had 800 yards rushing and 10 TDs. Gore is definitely the preferable HB in this matchup.

The WR matchup this week is between WR Michael Crabtree and WR Roddy White. This year Crabtree has had 85 receptions, for 1105 yards and 9 TDs. White this year has had 92 receptions for 1351 yards and 9 TDs. This matchup I will give to White.

In the end, I have to go with the 49ers who are having a quickly escalating attack with the help of Kaepernick. 49ers, 31-20.

WR Torrey Smith VS WR Anquan Boldin

WRs are an important part of the NFL. There are some great WRs in the final 4 this year. In New England, you have WR Wes Welker and WR Brandon Llyod. In Atlanta, you have WR Roddy White and WR Julio Jones. In San Francisco you have WR Michael Crabtree and WR Randy Moss. And in Baltimore, you have WR Torrey Smith and WR Anquan Boldin. Me and my fellow analyst, R Giraffe, had a debate between which WR was better, Torrey Smith or Anquan Boldin. R Giraffe said that Smith was the better option and I went with Boldin. I said Boldin was better since he had more recieving yards and catches yet Smith had more TDs. R Giraffe stated that Boldin's yards were all thanks to QB Joe Flacco and that Smith's YAC is higher due to better speed and juke ability. R Giraffe was right about the YAC. Smith averages 5.1 yards after catch and Anquan Boldin had only 4.2 yards after catch. I then brought up the point that its not about the yards it's about the hands. I said that which ever WR had the best catches/throws to percentage was the better receiver. I looked in up, and Bolden has a better catch percentage then Smith. Bolden has a catch rate of 58% and Smith had a catch rate of 44%. R Giraffe was still not convinced so I looked at the greatest WR this year, WR Calvin Johnson. This year, Johnson's YAC was 5 which isn't better than Smith's YAC, so that would mean if a good WR was based off of YAC that Smith was better then Johnson. This set me up for the final shot. Johnson has a catch percentage of 60% which is the percentage of the best WR this year. This means that since Boldin was a WR with 58% completion rate, he is better the Smith.

Ex Colts OC Bruce Arian Agrees to Deal with Arizona Cardinals

Ex-OC for the Indianapolis Colts, Bruce Arians has agreed to a deal with the Arizona Cardinals as their HC. Arians this year was also the Interim HC for the Colts, since Chuck Pagano was suffering cancer and had to go through kimotherapy. He began his NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs from 1989-1992 as the HB Coach. In 1996, the New Orleans Saints had him as their TE Coach. He then joined the Indianapolis Colts for the 1st time as the QB Coach from 1998-2000. He was then the Cleveland Browns OC from 2001-2003. The Pittsburgh Steelers then picked him up as WR Coach from 2004-2006. He was then promoted to OC from 2007-2011. In 2012 he joined the Colts as the OC. He became the Colts Interim HC during Chuck Pagano's kimo. He now needs to turn this loosey goosey Cardinals team around.

Jacksonville Hires New HC Gus Bradley

Ex-DC of the Seattle Seahawks, Gus Bradley agreed today to become the Jacksonville Jaguars new HC. Bradley has a great mind on defense and led the Seahawks to practically the best defense in the NFL this year with the defense only letting up an average of 15.3 points per game. From 2006-2008, Bradley was the DC for the Tampa Bay Bucanners. In 2009, he went to the Seattle Seahawks to be their DC. Now he is in the HC position of a team who needs a lot of help going only 2-14 last season. Hopefully Badley can guide them.

Mike McCoy Agreed to HC Terms with the San Diego Chargers

The San Diego Chargers have found their replacement for Ex-HC Norv Turner. His name is Mike McCoy. McCoy started his coaching career with the Carolina Panthers in 2000. McCoy started as an Offensive Assistant. In 2001, he was the WR coach for the Panthers. In 2002-2003, he went back to be the Offensive Assistant for the Panthers. In 2004-2005, he became a QB Coach as well as stayed the Offensive Assistant. In 2006, he became strictly a QB Coach for the Panthers. In 2007-2008, he was still the QB Coach, but he was also name the Passing Coordinator. He then went to the Denver Broncos in 2009 and played as the OC till 2013 where he has now been named the Chargers HC.

Marc Trestman Hired as Chicago Bears HC

Marc Trestman was hired as the Chicago Bears HC. Trestman has a lot of experience. He was the Vikings HB coach from 1985-1986. He was then the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB coach in 1987. He was the Cleveland Brown QB coach in 1988 then the OC in 1989. He was the Minnesota Vikings QB coach then from 1990 to 1991. In 1995-1996 he was the OC for the San Francisco 49ers and then the QB coach in 1997. He was then the QB coach for the Detroit Lions from 1998-2000. He then was the OC and QB coach for the Arizona Cardinals from 2001-2003. He was the the Oakland Raiders QB coach and OC in 2004. He was then the assistant HC from 2005-2006 for the Miami Dolphins. Then from 2008-2012 he was NC States HC and has now hit the big time with the Chicago Bears.

Chip Kelly Agrees to Terms With Philadelphia Eagles

HC of Oregon, Chip Kelly, agreed to terms with the Philadelphia Eagles. This is a big deal considering the fact that a week or so ago Kelly said he would stay in Oregon. This is quite a sudden change of heart. Maybe the Eagles pursuit for Kelly was enough to make him join. Maybe Oregon didnt want Kelly back. The Eagles could have made a better offer that was unrefuseable. Whatever did it though is bringing the Eagles closer to the team they are looking for.

New England blows up Texans

The New England Patriots blew up the Houston Texans this week claiming a 41-28 point win.

The Patriots offense was a big factor in this game. QB Tom Brady had 344 yards passing and 3 TDs. HB Stevan Ridley had 82 yards rushing and a TD. HB Shane Vereen had 47 yards rushing and a TD. Vereen also had 5 receptions for 83 yards and 2 TDs. WR Wes Welker had 8 receptions for 131 yards. WR Brandon Lloyd had 5 receptions for 32 yards and a TD.

The Texans also had a good day offensively. QB Matt Schaub had 323 yards passing and 2 TDs. HB Arian Foster had 90 yards rushing and a TD. He also had 7 receptions for 63 yards and another TD. TE Owen Daniels had 9 receptions for 81 yards. WR DeVier Posey had 3 receptions for 27 yards and a TD.

My MVP is Shane Vereen who had an amazing day offensively and defensively.

Atlanta Falcons outlast Seattle

The Atlanta Falcons tripped through a tough game but survived beating the Seattle Seahawks, 30-28. The Falcons were up 20-0 at the end of the 1st half, but the Seahawks rallied to comeback to take the lead 28-27 with 34 seconds left. Sadly, the defense failed QB Russel Wilson and let the Falcons into field goal range where K Matt Bryant was set to attempt the winning field goal. HC Pete Carroll was said to have called a timeout to try to ice Bryant in which Bryant missed the practice, but by the looks of Carroll's mouthing he never called timeout but the referees called a Seattle timeout! Bryant went on to kick a field goal on the 2nd attempt leading to QB Matt Ryan and RE Tony Gonzalez's 1st playoff win!

A big effect in this game was the Falcons offense. Matt Ryan got 250 yards passing for 3 TDs. WR Roddy White had 5 receptions for 76 yards and a TD. TE Tony Gonzalez had 6 receptions for 51 yards and a TD. HB Jason Snelling also had a TD as well as a reception for 5 yards. HB Michael Turner also had a decent day with 99 yards rushing. WR Julio Jones also had an interesting game with 6 receptions for 59 yards and an interception to end the game.

The Seahawks offense also played really strong today. QB Russel Wilson had a terrific day with 385 yards passing and 2 TDs. He also had a good running day get 60 rushing yards and a TD. HB Marshwan Lynch had a decent day with 46 yards rushing and a TD. TE Zach Miller blew up the board today with 9 receptions for 146 yards and a TD. WR Golden Tate also had a great day with 6 receptions for 103 yards and a TD.

My MVP for this game is Matt Ryan who had a terrific game with 3 TDs leading him to his 1st playoff win.

Houston Texans at New England Patriots

The Houston Texans travel to New England to play the New England Patriots today.

The QB matchup is between QB Matt Schaub and QB Tom Brady. This year Schaub has had 4008 yards passing, 24 TDs, and 12 interceptions. Brady this year has had 4827 yards passing, 32 TDs and 8 interceptions. Brady has a big lead in this matchup.

The HB matchup is between HB Arian Foster and HB Stevan Ridley. This is an excellent battle. This year Foster has had 1421 yards rushing and 15 TDs. Ridley has had 1263 yards rushing and 12 TDs. Foster barely escalates past Ridley here in this matchup.

The final matchup is between WR Andre Johnson and WR Wes Welker. Johnson this year has had 112 receptions for 1598 yards receiving and 4 TDs. Welker has had 118 receptions for 1354 yards and 6 TDs. Johnson wins this matchup by inches.

In the end though, the Patriots should come out superior. The Texans have to further develop all of their positions to win in this conference. Patriots, 38-24.

QB Colin Kaepernick Breaks 2nd Record Today

QB Colin Kaepernick broke the 2nd record broken today. WR Trindon Holliday was the 1st for being the 1st returner in history to return a punt and kick return for a TD in a playoff game. Holliday finished the day with 246 return yards and 2 return TDs. QB Colin Kaepernick broke a record similar to Holliday's. Kaepernick broke a record with his feet. In his big game against the Green Bay Packers in which the San Francisco 49ers won 45-31, Kaepernick ran for 181 yards and 2 TDs. This set the record for most QB rushing yards in a single playoff game. This is a record that will not be broken anytime soon except maybe by Kaepernick himself.

QB Colin Kaepernick Leads 49ers to Big Win

QB Colin Kaepernick lead the San Francisco 49ers to a big win over the Green Bay Packers, 45-31.

This game was highly based off of Kaepernick's performance. In this game Kaepernick had 263 yards passing and 2 TDs, but his run game was the big game changer. Kaepernick broke the record for most rushing yards by a QB in a playoff game with 181 yards rushing and 2 rushing TDs. HB Frank Gore had a great day with 119 yards rushing and a rushing TD. HB Anthony Davis also got a TD as well as 2 yards rushing. WR Michael Crabtree had a great day with 9 receptions for 119 yards recieving and 2 TDs.

The Packers offense also had a decent day. QB Aaron Rodgers had 257 yards passing and 2 TDs. HB DuJuan Harris has 53 yards rushing for a TD. WR Greg Jennings had 6 receptions for 54 yards and a TD, and WR James Jones had 4 receptions for 87 yards and a TD as well. CB Sam Shields also had a 51 yard interceptions returned for a TD.

In the end, my MVP for this game was QB Colin Kaepernick with breaking the rushing record in a way that may not be broken for decades to come! Unless he decides to break it again of course.

Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons

This week the Seattle Seahawks are heading to Atlanta to play the Atlanta Falcons.

This week is going to be extremely intense in the QB matchup. Rookie QB Russel Wilson will be going up against QB Matt Ryan. This year Wilson has had 3118 yards passing, 26 TDs and 10 interceptions. Russel Wilson is also a great runner who this year has had 489 yards rushing and 4 TDs. This year Matt Ryan has had 4719 yards passing, 32 TDs, and 14 interceptions. I think Matt Ryan is barely better than Wilson in this matchup.

The HB matchup is between HB Marshwan Lynch against HB Michael Turner. This year Lynch has had 1590 yards rushing and 11 TDs. Turner has gotten 800 yards and 9 TDs. Lynch is superior in this matchup.

The final matchup is between WR Sidney Rice and WR Roddy White. This year Rice has had 50 receptions for 748 yards and 7 TDs. White this year has had 92 receptions for 1351 yards recieving and 7 TDs. White is the winner of this battle.

In the end, QB Matt Ryan decides the end of this battle. Ryan is 0-4 in the playoffs in his career. He's lost 2 in the dome and 2 away. His great home career means nothing, so I'm choosing the Seattle Seahawks to perform an upset. Seahawks, 28-21.

QB Matt Schaub in History

QB Matt Schaub has had a rich history in his career that looks like a long term QB Russel Wilson career.

In 2004, Schaub was drafted in the 3rd round by the Atlanta Falcons to backup QB Michael Vick. Other notable QBs were: QB Eli Manning, QB Phillip Rivers, and QB Ben Roethleinsburger. Matt Schaub played 6 games in 2004 after Michael Vick went down with an injury. Matt Schaub only started 2 games in 2005 and 2006.

He was then traded to the Houston Texans for a 2nd round pick in 2007 and 2008. This allowed the Falcons to draft CB Chris Houston in 2007 and LB Curtis Lofton in 2008.

LB Curtis Lofton was sent to free agency in 2011 and was signed by the New Orleans Saints.

CB Chris Houston was traded to the Detroit Lions for a 6th round pick in 2010 and a 7th round pick in 2011. In 2010, the Falcons got DB Shaun Shillinger who went on to do virtually nothing and in 2011 they drafted DE Cliff Matthews who also never did anything great.

In 2007, the Falcons went 4-12 getting them to get the 3rd overall pick in the 2008 draft to get QB Matt Ryan and set the franchise off to this week when they are 13-3 and will play the Seattle Seahawks. In the end, the Falcons only benefit since 2004 from Schaub was leading to Matt Ryan.

When Schaub went to the Texans he spent every year playing for them except for a season ending injury in 2011 where rookie QB TJ Yates played. In Schaubs years from 2007-2012 he has gotten over 20,000 yards passing, 105 TDs, and 64 interceptions.

Matt Schaub led his team up to now where they will be playing in New England against the New England Patriots. Hopefully, Schaub can try to make it through New England to play the Baltimore Ravens.

Schaub has had a tough road and deserves reward and reward may come soon with young players such as HB Arian Foster and DE JJ Watt.

WR Trindon Holliday Sets Record

WR Trindon Holliday has set a return record. This is the 1st time in NFL History that a returner has returned a KR and PR for a TD. This is an unbelievable feat even though the Denver Broncos lost to the Baltimore Ravens, 38-35.

Jacoby Jones Pulls Off Amazing Catch to Win an Emotional game, 38-35

The Baltimore Ravens pull of a miracle victory over the Denver Broncos in double OT, 38-35.

This game involved an emotional LB Ray Lewis leading a defense that was unable to stop a tough offense in QB Peyton Manning. This game came down to key player, QB Joe Flacco had 3 miracle TD passes. His 1st TD was to WR Torrey Smith for 59 yards. His second TD was also to Torrey Smith for 32 yards. His final miracle TD was to send the game into overtime by throwing a TD to WR Jacoby Jones for 70 yards. The Ravens also had 2 interceptions by CB Corey Graham. One of his interceptions was returned for a TD and the other led to a game winning field goal by K Justin Tucker. HB Ray Rice also has a 1 yard rushing TD. WR Torrey Smith got 3 receptions for 98 yards and 2 TDs. WR Jacoby Jones had 2 receptions for 77 yards and a TD as well. QB Joe Flacco ended with 331 yards passing and 3 TDs.

The Denver Broncos had a big day on the return side of the ball. WR Trindon Holliday broke history by being the 1st person to get a punt return and kick return for a TD. Holliday had 246 yards returning for 2 returning TDs. QB Peyton Manning also had a good day with 290 yards passing, 3 TDs and 2 interceptions. HB Knowshon Moreno had 32 yards rushing as well as 2 receptions for 23 yards and a TD. WR Brian Stokely had 3 receptions for 27 yards and a TD. WR Demaryiis Thomas got 3 receptions for 37 yards and a TD.

In the end, my MVP has to be QB Joe Flacco. He put on an amazing show that if continued, could lead to a Super Bowl.

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers

The Green Bay Packers travel to San Francisco to play the San Francisco 49ers tonight. The QB matchup is between QB Aaron Rodgers and QB Dre Kaepernick. This year Rodgers has had 4295 yards passing for 38 TDs and 9 interceptions. Kaepernick has had 1814 yards passing, 10 TDs and 3 interceptions. Rodgers wins this matchup. The HB matchup is between HB DuJuan Harris and HB Frank Gore. Harris this year has had 157 yards rushing and 2 TDs. Gore 1214 yards rushing and 9 TDs. Frank Gore obviously wins this matchup. The final matchup is between WR Randall Cobb and WR Michael Crabtree. Cobb this year has had 80 receptions for 889 yards and 8 TDs. Michael Crabtree this year has had 85 receptions for 1105 yards recieving and 9 TDs. Crabtree will squeak past in this matchup.

Ill give this one to the Packers since with CB Charles Woodson back they will be powered up. Packers, 27-14.

Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos

This is gonna be a big battle as the Baltimore Ravens go to Denver to battle the Denver Broncos. The QB matchup for this week is between QB Joe Flacco and QB  Peyton Manning. This year Joe Flacco has had 3817 yards rushing for 22 TDs and 10 interceptions. This year QB Peyton Manning has had 4659 yards passing and 31 TDs with 11 interceptions. The next matchup is between HB Ray Rice and HB Knowshon Moreno. This year Ray Rice has had 1143 yards rushing and 9 TDs. This year Knowshon Moreno has had 525 yards rushing and 4 TDs. Moreno has low numbers due to lack of games played this year since he didn't start until HB Willis McGhee went down. I've got to give this one to Ray Rice. The final matchup is between WR Anquan Boldin and WR Demaryius Thomas. This year Anquan Boldin has had 65 receptions for 995 yards and 4 TDs. Demaryius Thomas this year has had 94 receptions for 1441 yards receiving and 11 TDs. I've got to give this one to Demaryius Thomas.

In the end, I must choose the Baltimore Ravens to upset the Broncos with LB Ray Lewis's return. Ravens, 35-31.

Rob Chudzinski Hired as HC for Cleveland Browns

OC of the Carolina Panthers, Rob Chudzinski, was hired by the Cleveland Browns as the new HC. This is a weird move considering the Panthers offense this past year with QB Cam Newton playing disappointingly till week 10. The Cleveland Browns had Chudzinski as their HC from 2007-2008. He was then on the San Diego Chargers from 2009-2010 as an offensive coordinators. He is a great mind with helping Cam Newton be so strong in his rookie year. Hopefully he can develop a possible QB in Cleveland and develop HB Trent Richardson and WR Josh Gordon further.

Breaking News: DE Chris Clemons out for Season

DE Chris Clemons of the Seattle Seahawks injured himself in Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins. Clemons has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and is out for the season. This year Clemons has had 40 tackles, 12 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles. His replacement is rookie DE Bruce Irvin who this year has had 17 tackles, 8 sacks, and a forced fumble. This puts the Seahawks in a horrible position as they go to face the Atlanta Falcons next week in the dome.

Seahawks Rally Past Redskins to Win, 24-14

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Washington Redskins today 24-14. The Redskins scored all 14 of their points in the 1st quarter. QB Robert Griffin the 3rd suffered a minor injury in the 2nd quarter and was never the same afterwards. He reaggravated it in the 4th quarter and was unable to return to the game.

The Redskins were stopped after the 1st quarter on offense and fell apart. RG3 only got 84 yards passing and 2 passing TDs. HB Alfred Morris only got 80 yards rushing. Backup TE Logan Paulsen had 2 receptions for 15 yards and a TD. Backup HB Evan Royster had 1 reception for 2 yards and a TD as well. LB Bobby Wagner played well and got 5 tackles and 4 assisted tackles. S Earl Thomas got 4 assisted tackles and an interception.

The Seahawks offense started off rough, but they then got on a roll. QB Russel Wilson got 187 yards passing and a TD. HB Marshwan Lynch got 130 yards rushing and a TD. FB Michael Robinson got 2 receptions for 23 yards and a TD.

The MVP of this game is HB Marshwan Lynch for an amazing performance that broke apart the defense.

Ravens overcome Colts, 24-9

The Baltimore Ravens are able to advance to the next round after defeating the Indianapolis Colts 24-9.

The Indianapolis Colts were defeated by the Ravens defense with the return of LB Ray Lewis. QB Andrew Luck had 288 yards passing but no TDs. HB Vick Ballard had 91 yards rushing but also never scored a TD. WR Reggie Wayne had 9 receptions for 114 yards and never had a TD. The Ravens let up tons of yards but not a single TD was let up. They let up only 3 field goals to K Adam Vinateri. LB Ray Lewis had a terrific day with 9 tackles and 4 assisted tackles. CB Cary Williams also had a great day with 8 tackles, 2 assisted tackles, and an interception.

The Ravens offense also played strong today. QB Joe Flacco had 282 yards passing and 2 TDs. WR Anquan Boldin had 5 receptions, 145 recieving yards, and a TD. TE Dennis Pitta also had a TD as well as 2 receptions for 27 yards.

The MVP of this game for me is WR Anquan Boldin for terrific catches that really helped over power the Colts defense.

Seattle Seahawks Against Washington Redskins

The Seattle Seahawks will be visiting the Washington Redskins for the final game of the season.

Lets start with the QBs. A rookie matchup between QB Russel Wilson and QB Robert Griffin the 3rd. This year Russel Wilson has had 3,118 passing yards, 26 TDs and 10 interceptions. Robert Griffin the 3rd has had 3200 yards passing, 20 TD, and 5 interceptions. These QBs also have running ability. Russel Wilson has 489 yards rushing and 4 TDs. Robert Griffin the 3rd has 815 yards rushing and 8 TDs. This matchup is close but RG3s running ability gives him the win in this matchup.

The HB matchup is between outstanding rookie HB Alfred Morris and HB Marshwan Lynch. This year Alfred Morris has had 1613 yards rushing and 13 TDs. Marshwan Lynch this year has had 1590 yards rushing and 11 TDs. Alfred Morris barely wins this matchup.

The final matchup is the WR matchup between WR Sidney Rice and WR Santana Moss. This year Sidney Rice has had 50 receptions for 748 yards and 7 TDs. WR Santana Moss has had 41 receptions for 573 yards and 8 TDs. This matchup is really close and I give it to WR Sidney Rice.

In the end, I'm giving this game to the Washington Redskins based on RG3s ability to trick the defense. Redskins, 28-27.

Offensive Coordinator Bruce Arians in Hospital

Offensive Coordinator, Bruce Arians, has been sent to the hospital with illness. It was confirmed as a flu Thursday, but his conditions have worsened and has been hospitalized. Without Bruce Arians, the Indianapolis Colts will have way more struggle than anticipated with rookie QB, Andrew Luck, in his 1st playoff game. The Colts are in a deep hole now. Can Andrew Luck dig them out?

Doug Maronne Agrees to Terms With Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills agreed to terms with Syracuse HC Doug Maronne. Doug Maroone is 25-25 at Syracuse. He was the offensive coordinator for the New York Jets from 2002-2005. He then proceeded to be the New Oreleans Saints offensive coordinator from 2006-2008. In 2006, the Saints made the playoffs for the 1st time since 2000. In 2 of those 3 years, the Saints offense ranked number 1. This is a great pick for the Bills considering a need to have a stronger offense to compete with teams like the New England Patriots and the rising Miami Dolphins. Hopefully, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will become a better QB in the offseason or another QB takes charge to lead an offense that will hopefully grow.

Indianapolis Colts at The Baltimore Ravens

This week the (4) Baltimore Ravens are against the (5) Indianapolis Colts. This will be a very tough battle between a strong offensive Colts and a powerful defense in the Baltimore Ravens with the return of LB Ray Lewis.

The QB matchup is QB Andrew Luck and QB Joe Flacco. This year, Andrew Lick has had 4374 yards passing and 23 TDs. Joe Flacco has had 3817 yards passing and 22 TDs. Andrew Luck is the winner of this matchup.

The HB Matchup is HB Vick Ballard against HB Ray Rice. Vick Ballard this year has had 814 yards rushing and 2 TDs. Ray Rice this year has had 1143 yards rushing and 9 TDs. Ray Rice deserves to win this matchup.

The WR matchup is WR Reggie Wayne against WR Torrey Smith. Reggie Wayne has had 106 receptions for 1355 yards recieving and 5 TDs. Torrey Smith has had 49 receptions for 855 yards and 8 TDs. Reggie Wayne wins this matchup.

In the end, I have to choose the Ravens because with return of LB Ray Lewis, their defense will be pumped and strong. Ravens win, 24-21.

Green Bay Slaughters Minnesota 24-10

An easy going game for the Green Bay Packers as they beat the Minnesota Vikings 24-10.

Backup QB Joe Webb didn't play up to standard as QB Christian Ponder was unable to perform due to elbow bursitis. Joe Webb had 180 yards passing, 1 TD, and 1 interception. HB Adrian Peterson was held off till the end and only got 99 yards rushing in 22 carries. WR Michael Jenkins had a good day though with 3 receptions for 96 yards and a TD. CB Sam Shield from the Packers had a good day with 5 tackles, 2 assisted tackles, and an interception.

The Packers offense also had decent #s today. QB Aaron Rodgers had 274 yards passing and a TD. FB John Kuhn had 4 yards rushing and a rushing TD as well as 2 receptions, 15 yards receiving and a recieving TD. HB DuJuan Harris had 47 yards rushing and a TD, and WR Greg Jennings had 4 receptions for 67 yards.

The Green Bay Packers will go up against the San Francisco 49ers next week. The MVP of this game for me was FB John Kuhn due to great recieving and rushing TDs.

Packers Smashing Vikings 17-3 at Half

The Green Bay Packers have been blowing up the Minnesota Vikings 17-3 at the half. The main issue for the Vikings was the loss of QB Christian Ponder who had elbow bursitis. QB Joe Webb has been 3/12 today with 22 passing yards and 4 carries for 42 yards. HB Adrian Peterson has also been mainly shut down today with 12 carries for 48 rushing yards which is low for him. The Packers have also have had a strong offensive game this far. QB Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 205 yards passing. WR Greg Jennings has had 3 receptions for 59 yards. HB DuJuan Harris has had 8 carries for 31 yards and 1 TD. If Joe Webb and Adrian Peterson can't overcome the Packers defense, this game is practically over.

Houston tops Cincinnati, 19-13

The (3) Houston Texans beat the (6) Cincinnati Bengals 19-13 in an intense battle.

The big factor in this game was strong defense seen by Houston as they did not allow an offensive TD. QB Andy Dalton of the Bengals only got 127 yards passing and an interception as well as 15 rushing yards. DE JJ Watt was a big factor getting 5 tackles and a sack while pumping the team up to victory. CB Jonathan Joseph also led the team with 5 tackles and an important interception to stop the Bengals momentum.

The Texans offense also came up big today. HB Arian Foster came up big with 140 yards rushing and a TD. TE Owen Daniels also came up big with 9 receptions for 91 yards. QB Matt Schaub did come a tiny bit short today though considering he only got 262 yards passing and an interception.

The Texans played well today, but they will need to make Matt Schaubs passing game stronger since they must battle against (2) New England Patriots next week.

My MVP of this game was HB Arian Foster tearing up the Bengals defense and scoring the only Offensive TD in the whole game.

Houston Texans up 9-7 at Half Against Cincinnati

The Houston Texans have barely controlled this game as they have the lead at halftime, 9-7. The biggest story thus far in this game is the defense on both sides. On Houston's side, they have allowed 0 points to the Cincinatti Bengals Offense. Team captain, JJ Watt, has 3 tackles and 1 sack. Andy Dalton in this game is 3/10 with 3 yards passing. BenJarvus Green-Ellis only has 42 yards rushing on 3 attempts and 2 receptions for -9 yards. The Cincinnati Bengals have also played big on defense getting all of their points on defense. Leon Hall had a big time interception returned for a TD to get the Bengals all 7 of the Bengals points. FS Reggie Nelson also has 7 tackles today. The Texans have not scored 1 TD in this game yet. Matt Schaub has 144 yards passing and 1 interception. Arian Foster is having a decent game with 86 rushing yards. TE Owen Daniels is playing tough with 7 receptions for 73 yards receiving. The biggest player for Houston thus far though is K Shayne Graham who has 3 field goals today. This game is gonna be a tough, intense game.

Sources: QB Christian Ponder Will Not Play

Sources say that Minnesota QB Christian Ponder will likely be inactive this week against the Green Bay Packers. He has elbow bursitis. QB Joe Webb will most likely replace Ponder. This will effect the passing game considerably especially since WR Percy Harvin was declared out for the season several weeks ago. Luckily, HB Adrian Peterson was already the majority of the game plan for the Vikings. The Vikings have another disadvantage against Green Bay. This is gonna be a tough game.

Minnesota Vikings against Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are taking on the Minnesota Vikings on back to back weeks. Last week the Vikings beat the Packers in overtime 37-34, but this week the Vikings have to go to Green Bay. The Vikings are currently 10-6 and the Packers are 11-5. The QB matchup  is QB Aaron Rodgers against QB Christian Ponder. This season Aaron Rodgers has had 4295 yards passing and 39 TDs. Christian Ponder has had 2935 yards passing and 18 TDs. Aaron Rodgers is definitely the winner of that match up. The next is the HB match up between Adrian Peterson and Alex Green. This year Adrian Peterson has blown our minds getting 2067 yards and 12 TDs. Alex Green this year has gotten 465 yards and 0 TDs. This is a obvious win for future comeback player of the year, Adrian Peterson. The receiving match up is between TE Kyle Rudolph and WR Randall Cobb. TE Kyle Rudolph this year has had 53 receptions for 493 yards for 9 TDs while WR Randall Cobb has had 80 receptions for 953 yards for 8 TDs. This is a close one, but Randall Cobb has been a great returner as well. Green Bay's defense is also far superior to the Vikings, so I'm choosing the Green Packers due to a strong passing game from Aaron Rodgers and his receivers. I expect them to win, 27-24.

Andy Reid Signed by Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed Ex-HC of the Philadelphia Eagles, Andy Reid. The HC was fired after the Eagles struggled in a 4-12 season. The Chiefs fired their HC after a 2-14 season. Hopefully the Chiefs can begin to make a comeback in their division as they have 5 pro bowlers this year. They are in a tough division currently consisting of QB Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos as well as HB Ryan Matthews and the San Diego Chargers. Luckily the division will soon be close as Peyton Manning may retire soon and the Chargers are weakening with the firing of HC Norv Turner. The Chiefs have a shot at the playoffs in the next 2 or 3 years I think with Peyton Manning soon to retire and QB Phillip Rivers beginning to fail.

Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans

Playoffs are here and are ready to start. The playoffs start at 4:30 on Saturday in Houston as the rising Cincinnati Bengals (10-6) go up against the recently struggling Houston Texans (12-4). This will be a spectacular match up between them. You ha v e the QB matchup: QB Andy Dalton against QB Matt Schaub. Andy Dalton this year has had 3,699 yards passing and 27 TDs. Matt Schaub has had 4008 yards passing and 32 TDs. The RB matchup is HB Arian Foster against HB BenJarvus Green- Ellis. Arian Foster has had 1421 yards rushing and 15 TDs. BenJarvus Green- Ellis so far has had 1094 rushing yards and 6 TDs. The final matchup is the receiving matchup: WE AJ Green against WR Andre Johnson. This year AJ Green has has 97 receptions for 1350 yards and 11 TDs while Andre Johnson had 112 reception for 1598 yards and 6 TDs. The Texans will obviously win because they beat the Bengals in all categories including defense. I expect the Texans to slide past the Bengals and win 27-24.

Post of Shame: Michael Vick Edition

The Philadelphia Eagles have successfully failed again. They had a 4-12 season under which many players got injured and HC Andy Reid was fired. This led to frustration in Philadelphia and led to QB Michael Vick saying some harsh words.

"Until you get guys who are willing to better themselves week in and week out and want to win, you're not going to win," Vick said. "And I haven't played with guys like that. It's unfortunate for Coach (Andy Reid) things turned out the way they are. It could have been a lot better. This locker room could have dictated that."

HB LeSean McCoy made similar yet less rude comments.

You should never criticize a team for lack of effort. They tried as hard as they could and should not me criticized. Vick, your gonna probably get fired anyway for not playing well this season and not renegotiating your contract. So don't worry, your done in Philadelphia. Get out.
