Ryan Switzer: Bow Down

I know I've been off lately but my goal for this year is to make the blog better then ever with more football analysis starting with this freshman named Ryan Switzer. He is a WR from the University of North Carolina and is also their PR (punt returner). He is a man that I just happen to see in the belk bowl because of an explosive 86 yard return for a TD. Here's how it went down: balls kicked, bunch of defenders from Cincinatti come in to try to distract him and make him muffle his punt, he keeps his focus, catches it, and he explodes past two defenders like a lightning bolt coming out of the clouds: he was that fast. Before I even could comprehend how he got past those players, he was in the end zone. He ended the day with 3 PRs (punt returns) for 83 yards and a return for a TD as well as 3 receptions for 22 yards. But this man has even more ability then his season total of 15 receptions for 344 yards and 3 TDs as well as 502 return yards for 5 TDs (which ties record for most returns for TDs in single season). His Senior year in high school is what impresses me so much. He was a WR/HB who did more HB then WR. In his senior year at George Washington High School in Charleston, West Virginia, he had 113 carries for 1422 yards and 16 rushing TDs as well as 6 receptions for 96 yards and 2
TDs. This man is a playmaker who will be on everyone draft board when his year come along. If he keeps escalating and playing at this pace in his sophomore and junior year, he will be worthy of a first or second round pick and could end up being the same skill level as players like WR Coradelle Patterson of the Minnesotta Vikings or WR Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears.
