HC Norv Turner and GM AJ Smith Fired

After another season with disappointment from the San Diego Chargers, They needed change. They have great players including QB Phillip Rivers, HB Ryan Matthews, and S Eric Weddle. The staff just haven't been able le ad well leading to the firing of HC Norv Turner and GM AJ Smith. Hopefully they can come together to compete with the Denver Broncos.

HC Romeo Crennel Fired

The Kansas City Chiefs have had a disastrous season finishing 2-14. Their QBS have caused complete chaos and have made need for change. They decided to begin by firing HC Romeo Crennel. They need to find somebody to train this disappointment of a team and Crennel failed miserably. With the 1st pick in the NFL Draft, hopefully they can solve their QB problem and become competitive with at least the Oakland Raiders.

HC Lovie Smith Fired

The Chicago Bears have had a decent season going 10-6 and missing the playoffs by one game due to HB Adrian Peterson upsetting the NFC. The Chicago Bears were the best team not to make the playoffs, but they decided to fire HC Lovie Smith. This is quite a surprise though the Bears have only made it to the playoffs in 3 of their last 9 years. The Bears did it though and everyone is interested to hear what will happen next.

HC Chan Gailey Fired

The Buffalo Bills struggled this year. They were expect to be a deep sleeper this year, but it seems like the Bills just stayed asleep. They were 6-10 by the end of the year and placed last in their division. They needed something to happen and fast considering the rising Miami Dolphins have become a somewhat tough competitor with the help of QB Ryan Tannehill. That led to the Bills firing HC Chan Gailey. There is plenty of talented HC out there, but HC Chan Gailey just couldn't improve the defenses or QB Ryan Fitzpatrick's play.

HC Ken Whisenhunt Fired

The Arizona Cardinals had scientific start to their season this year and started off 6-0. Than they completely fell apart and loss 9 straight games. There final record was 7-9. This was unacceptable for the Cardinals, so they decided to make some change. Today they fired HC Ken Whisenhunt and GM Rod Granes. The Cardinals need to improve their team and fast as they fell last in the division.

GM Mike Tannanbaum Fired

The New York Jets are one of the most dysfunctional teams in the NFL. They have had a QB issue for several years and need to change drafting styles to help.To do this, the Jets fire GM Mike Tannanbaum. He got the Jets to two ARC Championships, but I guess the Jets don't realize that the players are the main problem, not the GM. Head Coach, Rex Ryan, will remain on the team for another year, but he needs some players to get the team anywhere. Hopefully they can find some help in the NFL Draft.

GM Gene Smith Fired

Jacksonville has had a horrible season finishing 2-14 and claiming the 2nd overall draft pick. Over the past few years they have been doing worst and worst due to draft pick QB Blaine Gabbert in 2011 and costly pick ups like WR Laurant Robinson. After having a franchise worst record, GM Gene Smith has been fired. The Jacksonville Jaguars need some magic right now. Their have been rumors of picking up QB Tim Tebow, but this would be unwise with having a 2nd overall draft pick. Hopefully they can at least become competitive with division rivals, Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans, in the next year or two.

NFL Draft 2013: 1st 20 picks decided

The season has ended for 20 NFL teams today. All of those teams are now focused on the offseason. Lots of teams have issues to handle between Head Coaches and players. These teams will all get their chance though as the all mighty NFL Draft begins to approach. Teams have found out their picks in the draft. The picks are listed below:
1. Kansas City Chiefs (2-14)
2. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-14)
3. Oakland Raiders (4-12)
4. Philadelphia Eagles (4-12)
5. Detroit Lions (4-12)
6. Cleveland Browns (5-11)
7. Arizona Cardinals (5-11)
8. Buffalo Bills (6-10)
9. New York Jets (6-10)
10. Tennessee Titans (6-10)
11. San Diego Chargers (7-9)
12. Miami Dolphins (7-9)
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-9)
14. Carolina Panthers (7-9)
15. New Orleans Saints (7-9)
16. St. Louis Rams (7-8-1)
17. Pittsburgh Steeler (8-8)
18. Dallas Cowboys (8-8)
19. New York Giants (9-7)
20. Chicago Bears (10-6)

Redskins Clinch NFC East

The Washington Redskins have not won their division in 13 years. After getting the 2nd draft pick in last years draft with a trade with the St. Louis Rans, they drafted QB Robert Griffin the 3rd. Robert Griffin the 3rd, also known as RG3, then began his career as an NFL QB. He got through the season with help from rookie HB Alfred Morris. They had a 9-6 season going into this week against QB Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys. After an impressive performance by Alfred Morris, getting 200 yards rushing and 3 rushing TDs, the Redskins clinched the division by winning 28-18. The Redskins are a strong team which could be a sleeper going into the playoffs. Next week they will go up against the Seattle Seahawks who are another deep sleeper with QB Russel Wilson.

Andy Reid Fired

After a depressing 4-12 season for the Philadelphia Eagles the fans are full of heart break and looking for change. They started by firing their defensive coordinator and their defensive line coach, but that is not enough yet. After the 42-7 loss to the New York Giants, the Eagles released that Head Coach Andy Reid will be fires. This is not a shock considering how badly the Eagles have played lately. Also, be looking for a QB change in Philadelphia. QB Michael Vick has done nothing good for Philadelphia and will probably lose his job, since the Eagles have a good chance at a 3rd pick in the draft and Vick has had this horrible loss to the Giants. The Eagles need change. Change has started.

Rob Gronkowski to Play

Rob Gronkowki recently broke his forearm in week 11 and will return to his 1st action. The New England Patriots needed him back. Without him they were gonna have a tough time in the playoffs. Though the TE's action will be limited, it will be good for him to get some action. I don't think he is a reliable fantasy option if u are in the championship unless you like risks with high rewards.

Brown's Pat Shurmur and Tom Heckert to be fired Monday

After the Cleveland Browns going 5-10 this year the Browns are looking for change. They already have looked at the players by drafting QB Brandon Weeden and HB Trent Richardson. They then hired a new owner and CEO. They now seem to be about to fire General manager Tom Heckert and head coach Pat Shurmer on Monday. The Browns are trying everything and that might not be enough anymore.

Sean Payton Gets 5-year Extension

The Saints have been through a lot. During the 2011 offseason, they were accused of a bounty scandal that gave suspensions to several players for a small amount of time until they overturned it and lowered suspensions, but the important piece was gone. That piece was Head Coach, Sean Payton. He was suspended for the entire season and would have been on the free agency market next year, but the New Orleans Saints have signed him to a 5 year extension. After a 7-8 season so far, the Saints need him back.

Michael Vicks Final Chance

With week 17 approaching, Nick Foles has been placed on IR for the remainder of the year. Michael Vick is also active. This shows my theory of Michael Vick's last chance, even if it is in this style. Vick could be playing his final game for the Philadelphia Eagles, so he is playing for it all. Vick will probably lose his job, but it's worth a shot. The Eagles are up against the New York Giants this week. The Eagles are currently 4-11. They have a good chance at some QB material in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Injury Report: WR Randall Cobb, DL Justin Smith, QB Greg McElory

It seems we have some big name likely out this week that will affect Super Bowl contenders. WR Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers, is nursing a minor ankle injury, but the Packers will most likely let him rest so he doesn't further injure his ankle. DL Justin Smith, San Francisco 49ers, has a partly torn tricep that will make him out for a few weeks which will cause heavy damage to the 49ers team. There is also QB Greg McElroy from the New York Jets. He has sustained a concussion and is mostly likely out this week for the Jets. QB Mark Sanchez will start over QB Tim Tebow.

Breaking News: CB Richard Sherman

Richard Sherman has won his case against performance enhancing drugs. He decided to appeal the case and was found not guilty allowing him to avoid a 4 game suspension. This is a big win for the Seahawks considering the fact that they have a good chance at making the playoffs. They need Sherman's athletic ability on defense to perform in the playoffs.

Post of Shame: Jason Babin Edition

Jason Babin, DL for Jacksonville Jaguars, has recently made some crude remarks about his old team, the Philadelphia Eagles, which was the team that recently waived him this past month. He stated that the Eagles were "socialist" in their play style. Babin should not be making such unnecessary comments about a team that waived him! This is an immature and wild criticize that should not have happened. Babin should apologize for his comments toward the Eagles and be fined. These actions are unacceptable! I'm in the bathroom all I see is some crap in my toilet. I call it Jason Babin.

Ray Lewis's Return

After being placed on IR in week 6, Ray Lewis has been activated to the active roster. Though he isn't supposed to play in the Baltimore Ravens final game of the season against the Cincinatti Bengals, he should be back by the wild card round of the playoffs. He is a big leader in Baltimore, and his leadership is important to the Baltimore defense.

NFL Drafts: Round 1 QBs in History 1997-1998

This year QBs have performed quite well. Andrew Luck breaking many records, Robert Griffin the 3rd putting the Redskins in a wild card opportunity, and Ryan Tannehill bring Miami back into its tough division. It wasn't always like this though. 1st found QBs used to be a lot riskier then now.

In 1997, one QB was drafted Jim Druckenmiller. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers at 26th overall. In his career he had 239 yards passing for 1 TD and 4 interceptions. In 1999, he got traded to the Dolphins and was released in the year 2000 and never saw a NFL snap again. This year was a total bust on 1st round draft pick QBs.

In 1998, 2 QBs were drafted: Peyton Manning and Ryan Leaf. Peyton Manning was drafted number 1 overall in the draft by the Indianapolis Colts. In his career he has had 58,330 yards passing, 428 TDs, and 207 interceptions. He played for the Colts from 1998-2011 winning the 2006 Super Bowl and gaining 11 Pro Bowls. In 2012, he was recently signed by the Denver Broncos after a neck surgery keeping him out of 2011. Ryan Leaf was not as fortunate. Ryan Leaf was drafted 2nd overall in the draft by the San Diego Chargers. During his preseason, he was a horrible teammate and mistreated everyone and suffered many penalties. In his career he threw for 3666 yards and 14 TDs and 36 interceptions. He played for the San Diego Chargers from 1998-2000. During this time, he sustained many injuries. He then went on as back-up for the Dallas Cowboys in 2001. He was then dropped a year later and never played a snap again.

To sum up, the 1st few years of 1st round QBs were not that successful except for Peyton Manning, but it will soon begin to get better.

Broncos and Their Future

The Broncos have had a strong season thus far have already won the division being probably 12-3 if they beat Cleveland today. Peyton Manning is old though and will retire in another 2-3 years. This will leave the Broncos with no one at QB except back up rookie, Brock Osweiler who could do well, but it could take many years. The future after Manning will probably be around the RB position. The future is hopefully RB Knowshon Moreno who is a star now on this team. He already has 406 yards for 3 TDs this year and is probably a player who will stay strong over the years. The future is bright for Knowshon Moreno and the Broncos if they can have leadership.

Michael Vick to the Jets: Stop Dreaming

Hello there fans of chaos. This is a message to all of you about Michael Vick. There is no way he will ever leave the Eagles with the contract he has left!!! He may have sucked this year, but it's not his fault. This is all to blame on bad drafting and their OL. Andy Reid has become a dead beat in Philadelphia and will soon leave due to drafting players that did not support weak positions. The OL has completely collapsed and needs serious improvement. How can Vick play well if he barely gets a second to throw? I know the Jets are 6-9 and are in dire need of help in future years but come on!!! Nobody can trade for Vick cause his contract is too big, and Vick is not done with the Eagles yet. They sat Vick cause they knew they were done this year! Foles needed to get some practice for when Vick retires in 4-5 years! Foles's starts mean nothing! Jets QBs may suck, but you fans of chaos will have to get over the fact that Vick isn't done. Andy Reid is done, not Vick. They aren't the same person!

Tebow to Jaguars?

With the approach of regular season ending this year the Jets and Jaguars have both been struggling. The jets are currently 6-9 after there recent loss to the Chargers. This week they benched Mark Sanchez and brought in Greg Mceleroy. This was an unexpected change due to the face that Tim Tebow was the 2nd string QB. The Jaguars have also struggled by going 2-13 so far. They have struggled heavily due to injury by RB Maurice Jones-Drew and QB Blaine Gabbert. The one thing these 2 teams have in common is the fact that they were both in the running for QB Tim Tebow. When the Jets got Tebow it turned into just a mere publicity stunt so he never started a game and barely played. But now Tebow will probably head over to the Jaguars for what will probably be a QB battle between QBs Chad Henne, Tim Tebow, and Blaine Gabbert, but Tebow going to Jacksonville is barely helpful. Jacksonville has a high draft pick in this next draft and there will be some good QB prospects in the next draft including Matt Barkley and Geno Smith. Tebow is unneeded considering the great talent available in the NFL Draft in 2013. There are much more suitable environments for him including the Cleveland Browns or St. Louis Rams. In those environments he can learn easily and play big time opponents that will further his education. In conclusion, Tebow can't make this mistake. He is ruining his career with the teams he plays with.

Falcons: Super Bowl Champs?

The Falcons have clinched home-field advantage! Congratulations for them! They can now lay back and relax since they are obviously the champs... Oh wait... Matt Ryan is 0-3 in the playoffs!!! 1 of those 3 was at home! This home field advantage stuff is a ton of crap. Don't get to freaking cocky Atlanta.... Your now winning this thing. In 2008, you played the Arizona Cardinals and lost 30-24. The Cardinals then won the Super Bowl that year. Then in 2009, you played the Green Bay Packers and once again lost 48-21 in an embarrassing defeat that helped give the Packers enough momentum to win the Super Bowl that year. Finally 2011. The most embarrassing of them all. You played against the New York Giants and lost by a disgraceful score of 24-2. That year the Giants also went on to win the Super Bowl. Honestly with these stats against them, I want to play the Atlanta Falcons if I was an NFL team. They suck in the playoffs.

Cam Newton on the Rise

Cam Newton has been facing a tough sophomore year with the Panthers. He started the 1st 10 games of the season with 10 interceptions and only 8 TDs. He lost complete control of the team and it had collapsed. Cam Newton though is starting to comeback. In his last 5 games he had 0 interceptions and 10 TDs. That means 1 of 2 things. 1. He has finally figured out how to play consistently well in the NFL or 2. The teams he are playing are old, cruddy, and tired and just aren't trying anymore. Most people would say the answer is generally the 2nd option but this is not true for one reason: He bear the Falcons 30-20. In that game, he threw for 287 passing yards and 2 passing TDs but that's not all. He now has seemed to learn how to run the ball efficiently by having 9 carries for 116 yards and a TD. That game showed a veteran who has a great future and is already a great player in every way. Superman is back. I would be scared NFC South!

Sleepers Week 3

Matt Cassel (QB-Kansas City Chiefs) Avalible in 87% of leagues: Matt Cassel has been an under the radar QB for the 1st 2 weeks of the year and now it is time for him to shine. He will play against the New Orleons Saints who are a defense dying quickly. This is a good QB if your scared of your other options.
Donnie Avery (WR-Indianapolis Colts) Avalible in 69% of leagues: Donnie Avery has had a decent season thus far. He is looking for some more chances to shine with Austin Collie trying to jump back from an injury, the Colts using Andrew Luck strongly in the passing game, Avery is a good flex option.
Mike Goodson (RB Oakland Raiders) Avalible in 92% of leagues: Mike Goodson is a player who is only slightly on my radar, but he has got the speed to take over for McFadden incase of injury shown by his recent plays and catches.

Sleepers Week 2

Mark Sanchez (QB-New York Jets) (Avalible in 76% of leagues): Coming of a big week, Mark Sanchez seems like a good pick to test his skill. He is young and is still getting trained. Tim Tebow might take a few plays away from him, but Sanchez can be an up and coming name.
James Jones (WR- Green Bay Packers) (Avalible in 60% of leagues): James Jones had a big week last week. He had some good numbers and might be posed to be a big threat. With Greg Jennings doubtful Jones might get even more catches.
Dexter McCluster (RB-Kansas City Chiefs) Avalible in 64% of leagues: Dexter McCluster is on a team with many RB options, but McCluster is one of the best recievers out of those RBs. Look for him to have decent numbers this week.

Fantasy Sleepers Week 1

Brent Celek (TE- Philadelphia Eagles)- A stand out sleeper to me coming into week 1. Last year he played well in his last 3 games of the season and was a helper to any fantasy team.
Darren Sproles (RB - New Orleans Saints) - This guy is not advertised well, but he has always been a popular weapon in PPR leagues and return yard leagues. This guy should be owned in 100% of leagues.
Jake Locker (QB - Tennesse Titans) - Jake Locker is a guy who has been under apprecitaed by his team. He has great legs and a great arm. He is very similar to Michael Vick, but Locker has way more stamina and speed.

Randall Cobb (WR- Green Bay Packers) - Randall Cobb is a very popular and high ranked player in the Packers orgainization. He has the speed, the talent, and the ability to be a breakout star.

Breaking News: David Garrard, Mohamed Massaquoi, and Cedric Benson

David Garrard has recently revealed that he will be having surgery on his knee and will have to be out for 2-4 weeks. QB David Garrard currently is batting for the QB position against Ryan Tannehill and Matt Moore. WR Mohamed Massaquoi also left the game last night with a concussion and will hopefully be able to return for week 2 in the preseason. There is also a high chance of the New York Giants signing RB Cedric Benson to a contract; This makes me wonder who the starter will be between Cedric Benson, Ahmad Bradshaw, and David Wilson. I have a feeling that Bradshaw will probably get the start.

Top 25 QB's: 1. Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers of course is #1. He has some pretty good legs, a great arm, and the weapons he has are unstoppabe. He is a QB who has serious skill and can't be stopped.

Top 25 QB's: 2. Tom Brady

Tom Brady last year was his usual self: A Superstar. He has one of the best arms in the league and with the Patriots strategy with goaline QB sneaks; he will be a hard force to keep up with. Last year his team were the runner-ups to the New York Giants, but that was a small scoring game considering the offenses playing. Tom Brady is an amazing leader who can take any team to a Super Bowl, but if he wants another ring he is going to have to have the defense incase he can't get the job done. The defense took a stand in the Super Bowl last year and let up only 21 points. Last year the Patriots could usually beat that easily, but when Tom Brady lost momentum the defense rised but not enough, so the Patriot's D must continue to rise if they wish to defeat rivals such as the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Jets.

Breaking News: Ryan Matthews

Ryan Matthews suffered an injury in last nights game against the Green Bay Packers. He has broken his clavicle and will be out for 4-6 weeks. He is a top fantasy star this year and it would be an extreme dissapointment if he is injured into the season.

Robert Griffin the 3rd: Stud or Dud?

RG3 is one of the most highly anticipated players this season. He has been predicted by many analysts that he is the next Cam Newton. His style of play is actually closely related to Cam Newton as well as Michael Vick: 2 top 10 QB's! This could mean that he is soon to be a top 10 as well if he proves himself this season. He is already rated 12 in my rankings bringing him extremely close to top 10 with not much competition in front of him to get there including Matt Ryan, Phillip Rivers, and the soon to retire, Peyton Manning. RG# has the legs, he has the arm, and he has the knowledge. That is why RG3 is going to be a STUD.

Preseason Week 1 Predictions

There are many games coming up in the preseason and it's time for some early predictions.
Redskins 17- Bills 14
Ravens 27 - Falcons 21
Eagles 34- Steelers 28
Patriots 34- Saints 28
Packers 34- Chargers 27
Bears 34- Broncos 27
Bengals 28- Jets 27
Lions 42- Browns 13
Giants 42- Jaguars 10
Dolphins 17- Buccaneers 13
Cardinals 20- Chiefs 14
49ers 27- Vikings 13
Texans 42- Panthers 27
Titans 28- Seahawks 17
Colts 17- Rams 9
Cowboys 34- Raiders 17

Top 25 QB's: 3. Cam Newton

Cam Newton last year was a breakout star! He broke rookie records left and right, but he has no running game other than himself causing the Panthers to still have a losing record. He is fast, has one of the best arms in the NFL, and has top WR Steve Smith to help him out. People say Cam Newton is going to have a sophmore slump, but I wouldn't call it a slump. It's more of a learning thing for the NFL that will decide his fate. Will defenses be able to stop him? This is the question that all of us wonder.
