Doug Maronne Agrees to Terms With Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills agreed to terms with Syracuse HC Doug Maronne. Doug Maroone is 25-25 at Syracuse. He was the offensive coordinator for the New York Jets from 2002-2005. He then proceeded to be the New Oreleans Saints offensive coordinator from 2006-2008. In 2006, the Saints made the playoffs for the 1st time since 2000. In 2 of those 3 years, the Saints offense ranked number 1. This is a great pick for the Bills considering a need to have a stronger offense to compete with teams like the New England Patriots and the rising Miami Dolphins. Hopefully, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will become a better QB in the offseason or another QB takes charge to lead an offense that will hopefully grow.
