3-Mile Island in Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Bengals fell short against the Pittsburgh Steelers 18-16 on a game that ended in travesty. LB Vontaze Burfict took a cheap-shot on WR Antonio Brown late into the game leading to a concussion and a 15-yard penalty. Afterwards, CB Adam Jones received a 15-yard penalty for touching a referee putting the Steelers in a position to kick a short field goal to win the game.

Who is the blame for the meltdown? HC Marvin Lewis? The referees? The real answer is the players themselves.

Many people are blaming Lewis for not keeping his players together, but he has 55-players to keep track off. He cannot hold down that many ben. Burfict was a monster the entire time. He gained rage and beat up on QB Ben Roethleinsburger, WR Antonio Brown, and most of the referees. CB Adam Jones lost his chill at the end to really end the game though.

Marvin Lewis should not be fired like some are saying. He is a good head coach with problem players who will get their punishment, but the real sad thing is: the NFL has been shamed by these players.
